The Brazilian star Issues Sincere Sorry to Real Madrid Devotees
Vinicius Jr has netted five finishes in 10 La Liga outings during the current campaign.
Real Madrid forward Vinicius Jr has apologised to fans for his response when replaced in the recent heated El Clasico triumph.
Vinicius was substituted in the second half and expressed his disappointment by heading directly to the dressing room.
The Brazilian subsequently came back to the bench and, following his side's 2-1 victory, attempted to approach Barça's Lamine Yamal during unsavoury post-match incidents.
"This day I want to apologise to all the Real Madrid fans for my response when I was taken off in the big match," the player posted on his account.
"In the same way as I have already done during the latest session, I would like to say sorry once more to my colleagues, the organization, and the club president.
"At times emotion gets the better of me because I always want to succeed and help my team. My determined nature originates in the affection I hold for this institution and everything it symbolizes."
Vinicius signed for Madrid from Brazil in the year 2018 for a significant fee and has notched triple figures in more than 300 games.
But his career in the Madrid is unclear with reports in the past few months suggesting that Real would consider permitting the player leave if they were to receive a appropriate bid.
When Vinicius was replaced on that day, cameras from coverage provider the service picked him up saying: "Again me! I'm departing the side! It's wiser if I depart, I'm going."
In his new post on the platform, Vinicius said: "I vow to keep fighting constantly for the welfare of Los Blancos, as I have acted since the first day."
